Hip-Hop Making Moves into Mainstream Education

Good news hip-hop community, Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs has become the focus of a university course. The Clive Davis Institute of Recording Music at New York University will be offering a class called: 'Topics: Sean Combs & Urban Culture. The course aims to shed light on how Combs became a successful mogul and hip-hop producer.
It is no secret that his record company, Bad Boy Records is one of the biggest record labels to appear in the 90s. One of their biggest artists and possibly the greatest rapper of all time, The Notorious BIG, bolstered the success. Unfortunately, he was gunned down and a coastal feud. Six months prior to his death, his rival 2Pac as gunned down in similar fashion.
